The client had nothing specific in mind and was open for suggestions.
Project Challenges
Finding the right image or design to cover a 7m x 2m area.
Making sure that the material used will last for at least 10 years.
Proposed Solution
Our suggestion was to install a Fabric Tension Frame.
Complete image will be seamless.
Printing on the fabric (Polytwill) gives vibrant colours, good contrast and detail.
Additional benefit is that the whole structure is easy removeable to be installed at another venue.
Installation Process
Once the print is done and cut to size, a silicone edging called chonk is glued to edge of the material, on the reverse side.
An aluminium frame, the size of the print is secured to the wall with bolts and the material was secured to the frame.
